Dylan Mitro is a Toronto based artist who bounces between working as a Film Director/Editor and Art Director. His focus is on editorial work, blooming with unapologetic playfulness. Dylan prides himself in showcasing true authentic trail blazers who have genuine stories that need to be heard, collaborating with inspiring voices such as Spencer Badu, Irene Yee, Hubert Lenoir, and Amaal. When it comes to working with brands, Dylan understands the importance of authenticity of voice. Each brand has their own unique voice that needs to be expressed clearly and powerfully. He has collaborated with Canon Canada, Redbull, Topshop and The Creator Class.

Dylan’s personal directorial work has a focus on LGBTQ+ representation on the screen, showcasing depictions of queer narratives that break outside of the norms. Dylan studied at Ryerson University, completing a BFA in the Film studies Program. He has been working in the industry as a Film Director for 7 years. His work has screened at Tiff: Next Wave 2020, Toronto Men’s Fashion Week and Forest City Film Festival. Dylan’s directorial work has also been featured on Highsnobiety, The Fader, Hype Beast, Boooooom, Paper Magazine, Culture Collide and The Revenue.
